David Price Brings the Heat in his 2018 debut. Proving Bobby is right .... for now

I know I am staking my name on this take.  I know this is the first prediction I have made since you all started listening. But we will see a different David Price this year.  We will finally see a focused Price with a winning attitude here in Boston.  He lost a lot of time and respect last year in a town that doesn't have much to give of either.  Yesterday he started 2018 with a 7 inning, 4 hit, shut out.  Dominant performance.  If he can stay healthy for the season and they use him properly,Ii think we will see the return of David Price the ace.  The David Price we were all excited for when he was signed.  But this time he wont have to be the number 1.  Sale is obviously that guy.  I think this is exactly what Price needs coming off of last year.  He wont have the pressure of being a number 1 guy which will release some of the pressure.  I know 1 game (especially in baseball) doesn't mean that much.  But David Price showed us what he has left.  He showed us all that he is still capable of being the guy we all remember facing from the Rays.  The Sox will have a serious pitching staff this year if Price can keep this up.  Look forward two #1 pitchers this year.  The Sox are coming for their 3rd straight AL East title this year.  They are also looking to get their first ALDS win with this group of players.  With David Price in prime form the World Series is that much closer in reach.
